First of all, let me introduce our Rogers County Democratic Party Officers.

There seems to be a lot of press about Roger County going to the Republican side and one has to be Republican to win a public office…

It all hinges on the fact that the President of the United States is a Democrat and no one wants to be linked to the leader to our country. Well, he is President for another 15+ months and he has to sign every bill that Congress finally gives him… Playing “what if” doesn’t work!!!!
Well, I still know there are Democrats in Rogers County and there should be more Democrats due to the fact that there are working people who have not received a hourly increase or salary increase in several years. If you are retired from the state or an educator, your insurance premiums/co-pays have accelerated to a point you cannot afford to be sick..Let us not talk about your pension funds or your COLA’s.

Democrats want a quality life and despite what you hear, we do not want to take one of your cars and give it to someone else… That legislation comes from someone else probably the Big Banks or Credit Card PACs…
So, guess who wants to take away benefits from firemen, teachers, policeman, etc.? Read what our present Labor Commissioner Mark Costello says about state workers being like “feral hogs”. He was speaking of the unions that represent the workers but were it not for the unions, the current salaries/wages would be far less.
If you do not believe this, just listen to what the media puts out about your job and think about how hard you actually work…. We intend to use this as a forum to show everyone what working people really do with their lives…

I am a DEMOCRAT, I am a Christian, I have voted in an informed manner since I was 21, I support public school but support people’s choice to pay for private education w/o my tax money, I support hunting, fishing, and other sports, but also smart conservation!
